The Fiat Brava Review
So recently I passed by a retail display at a auto dealer for the Fiat Brava and found a few things out which I shall share with you below.
The Fiat Brava is a family car that is geared toward the compact section of the car market. It was constructed by the iconic Italian carmaker between 1995 to 2001. It is an attractive hatchback that sports five-doors and is roomy and wonderful for families. A popular choice for younger drivers, it was elected Car of the Year in Europe in 1996.
Surprisingly affordable for a quality, luxury-class car, the Brava has great flair, with a sleek shape and lines. It also boasts a powerful engine, and handles exceptionally well. Unfortunately, however, it has a low-speed ride that is below expectations.
The Fiat Brava is well-appointed with standard power locks and windows, driver air bag, and power steering (front wheel). It comes with a powerful engine; options include 80 hp, 103 hp, 113 hp, and 147 hp. Cars are also available in turbo diesel engines, too, so there is not only performance, but fuel efficiency.
Safety features aren’t as impressive as one would expect from such a well-designed car. Passenger airbags are options. There are anti-theft devices on-board, but the locking system is comparatively flimsy.
The car is quite comfortable and practical, with a spacious interior that easily seats five and roomy trunk storage that far outclasses comparable cars. Seats are comfortable, and there is excellent sound proofing. There is certainly not much more that can be wanted from this car. The Brava is also an excellent value in the used car market.
